it honestly felt like there wasnt any editor in the process of writing this book. Notes: i feel like the editor couldve helped ka ale with the plot points and the characterization. Typography: 2/5 (there are more fonts out there besides times new roman you knoww) why didnt we get any information on how abel's nationality changed?Ĭharacterization: 3/5 (didnt really stood out to me, you have to read the AU to understand the characters more in my opinion)
in the journal, abel's nationality was mentioned as malaysian. abel's relationship with kaliel, afterall, kaliel was the one who told abel to apply to manchesterĥ. more in depth descriptions of how being a broken home affects amara's lifeĤ.
how amara and abel suddenly became close (even though they were still awkward in the beginning) or THE HUGE TIME JUMPĢ. the somewhat "forced" chemistry between amara and abel after they datedģ. amara's love for books and literature (i really liked it when jane austen was mentioned, shes one of my favorite authors)Ģ. how amara talks about her love for khai and lailĤ. 1st half of the book (before the 'the dress that found her' chapter): 5 stars, beautiful, felt very attached, super sweet, i love lail and ra's relationship through letters, i love the awkwardness between amara and abel ( i think thats very sweet )Ģnd half of the book (after the 'the dress that found her' chapter): 2.5 stars, felt a bit rushed, didnt really like the narration, i also thought the plot was a little "basic"ģ.
